The Staff...
The staff of Mornington Peninsula Division of General Practice
consists of the Executive Director, Executive Manager, Program and
Project Workers and Administrative Staff.

Executive Manager
Lynne Cooper is responsible for management of staff at the
Division. In association with the GP Executive Director she directs
the day to day running of the Division towards achieving its
strategic plan. Lynne also drives the
practice managers networks, and is a resource for
practice accreditation and
workforce
issues.

Director
Dr
John Siemienowicz as executive director provides a general practitioner perspective to
the Division's activities. John has been involves from
inception of the Division in 1993. He has an interest in computing,
systems management and information management. He has a
long association with the local hospital network. He is involved
with the IMIT and
palliative care programs.

Mental
Health
Nici Lhuede provides support for the mental health programs. The
Division is involved in three mental health programs. The
mental
health initiative, the peer support mental health program and the
Access to
Allied Health Services Project. |

Access to Allied Health Services
Dr
Helen Jarvis is a Psychologist involved in the
Access to
Allied Health Services project. This project provides support
to General Practitioners registered under the Better Outcomes in
Mental Health Initiative. They are able to refer their low income
patients to Helen for short-term counselling. |

Aged Care
Program
Susan Pangbourne is responsible for the development and
delivery of a Aged Care at the Division.
Along with members of the Aged Care Panel she will try to improve
the provision of aged care for our local community

Practice Nurses and Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes)
Leisl Jackson provides support in the areas of
immunisation, practice nurse support program and chronic disease
management (diabetes)

NPS
Facilitator
Kathryn Griffin is a pharmacist who works as a National
Prescribing Service facilitator. The National Prescribing Service
aims to assist general practitioner prescribing by providing
quality evidence based pharmaceutical advice. Her
NPS program consists of one to one
educational visits with local general practitioners. |

Home
Medicines Review & Continuous Professional Development
Cleeve Charles is responsible for promotion of the
Home Medicines
Review program. This program aims to improve the liaison between
pharmacy and general practice. The CPD program provides
professional education for GPs. |

Administrative Officer / Events Coordinator
Frja Wood provides administrative support to the management of the
division. Frja assists other staff with administrative duties,
quality improvement activities and event organisation. Frja also assists the CPD Subcommittee
and in production of the news letter. |

Program Administration Officer
Rose Burns
plays a strong supportive role in the Diabetes, Immunisation-
Antenatal Talks, and Heart Failure programs. Rose has also developed
considerable skills in Access database programming and maintains the
Division Information System database.

Administrative Assistant
Sally Guthrie is the happy voice and personality that greets
callers and visitors to the Division. Sally provides administrative
support to the program staff.
